Mean Lids is a four-piece indie rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Formed in 2016, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Jake Hanson, bassist and vocalist Sam Hanson, drummer and vocalist Ben Hanson, and keyboardist and vocalist Nick Hanson. Their music is characterized by its catchy melodies, jangly guitars, and introspective lyrics. Mean Lids has released two EPs, "Prairie Summer" and "Another Time Around the Sun," and a full-length album, "Kalyx." They have toured extensively throughout the Midwest and have shared the stage with bands such as The Replacements, Hüsker Dü, and The Jayhawks.
