Neville Staple is a British singer and musician best known as the frontman of the ska band The Specials. Born in Jamaica in 1952, Staple moved to England as a child and became involved in the local ska scene in the late 1970s. He joined The Specials in 1979 and quickly became one of the most recognizable faces of the 2-Tone movement. After The Specials disbanded in 1981, Staple went on to form Fun Boy Three with Terry Hall and Lynval Golding. He has also released several solo albums and collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Madness, The Pogues, and The Specials' Jerry Dammers.
