Stutterfly

**Stutterfly** was a Canadian post-hardcore band that emerged from Kelowna, British Columbia, in the early 2000s. Known for blending melodic hooks with gritty, emotive energy, the group carved a niche in the alternative rock scene with their raw lyricism and dynamic sound. Their lineup initially featured Chris Stickney (vocals), Jesse Ens (guitar), Chris Millington (guitar), Jon Koenig (bass), and Scott Ternan (drums). Stutterfly gained traction with their 2003 debut *The Aftermath*, but it was their sophomore album, *And We Are Bled of Color* (2005), that solidified their reputation, later receiving a U.S. release to expand their reach.

Tracks like **Burn the Silence**, **Shattered Vows**, and **Dance with Death** showcased their knack for balancing aggression and introspection, often weaving themes of heartache and resilience into their music.
