Deutsch-Amerikanische Freundschaft, commonly known by the acronym DAF, is a prominent band in the electronic music and avant-garde scene, hailing from Germany. Founded in Düsseldorf in 1978 by Gabi Delgado-López and Robert Görl, the band quickly became a pioneering entity in the development of the electronic body music (EBM) genre. Their unique blend of punk energy, danceable beats, and provocative lyrics in both German and English set them apart in the post-punk and New Wave landscapes.
