Formed in 2006, the band has released five full-length albums, including "The Final Frontier" (2022), "Open Wound" (2020), and "Weather Suite in A" (2018). Their music is characterized by its relentless aggression, haunting melodies, and atmospheric soundscapes. Banished has toured extensively throughout North America and Europe, sharing the stage with bands such as Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, and Nile.
