Pale Oaks

Pale Oaks is a 4-piece alternative rock band from Athens, Greece. The band started as a solo project by Akis Vogiatzis, who handles vocals and guitar, following the dissolution of his previous band Satelights. Over time, Pale Oaks expanded to include other members: Theo Vranas on drums and John Lefas on guitar. Their music combines elements of mid-'00s emo with 80's synths and big pop hooks, which they humorously refer to as "heavy-pop." Their debut record, "...I've Been Better," showcased their ability to craft catchy and emotive tracks.

Recent releases from Pale Oaks include songs like "Falter," "Call You Up," "Circles," "Common Sense," "Muddy Waters," "Losing Our Minds," and "Disasters," in addition to their earlier work. The band's sound is characterized by its blend of melodic and energetic elements, making them a notable presence in the alternative rock scene.
