DJ LaTimmy, whose real name is Timothy Sabuta, is a well-known music producer, DJ, and entrepreneur from Botswana. Starting his career as a DJ in Francistown in 2003, he quickly made a name for himself with his energetic and disciplined performances. Over the years, he became recognized as a major crowd-puller and innovator, blending house music with genres like kwaito, jazz, hip hop, and R&B. LaTimmy owns BeatMechaniX Studios and has released several albums, including his debut "Motho" in 2008 and "Nfana wa Kasane" in 2010. His hit singles like “Nanzala Vuke” and “Refilwe” received widespread airplay across Botswana.

Known not just for his music production but also for his dynamic presence as an MC, DJ LaTimmy has performed at many major Botswana events, including Mascom Wheels or Cash and Mascom Cash Explosion. His 2020 EP album “Beatmechanix Vol.1” showcases his skill in crafting dance music that resonates well beyond Botswana’s borders. As the founder of BotsHouse and a prominent figure in Botswana's music scene for over two decades, DJ LaTimmy continues to set dance floors ablaze with releases like “African Soul” while maintaining a strong connection with his audience throughout the country.
