Trixter

Trixter is an American rock band that rose to prominence in the early 1990s with their self-titled debut album "Trixter," which was released in 1990. Hailing from Paramus, New Jersey, the band's original lineup consisted of Pete Loran (lead vocals), Steve Brown (lead guitar, harmonica, backing vocals), P.J. Farley (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Gus Scott (drums, percussion, backing vocals). Their music captured the tail-end of the glam metal movement that dominated the late '80s and early '90s, and they became known for their melodic hooks, energetic performances, and classic rock and roll vibe. The band enjoyed moderate success with hit singles such as "Give It to Me Good," "One in a Million," and "Surrender."

After a hiatus in the mid-90s and early 2000s, Trixter reformed and began producing new music and performing live again. Albums such as "New Audio Machine," released in 2012, and its follow-up, "Human Era," in 2015, marked the band's return to the music scene, celebrating their classic sound while integrating more contemporary rock elements. Despite the changing musical landscape, Trixter has maintained a loyal fan base and continues to rock with the same passion and energy that first brought them to the spotlight. The release of "Alive in Japan" captured the band's vitality on stage, while "Under Covers (Everything By, Nothing From)" allowed them to pay homage to their influences through covers of well-known songs. Trixter's lasting appeal is a testament to their dedication to their craft and their connection with fans who continue to appreciate their brand of high-octane rock 'n' roll.
