Shontelle Layne, known mononymously as Shontelle, is a Barbadian singer, songwriter, and attorney renowned for her blend of R&B and pop music with a Caribbean influence. Born on October 4, 1985, in Saint James, Barbados, she quickly made her mark on the music scene with her hit single "T-Shirt" in 2008, off her debut album "Shontelligence."
