Ushangvagush

Ushangvagush is a solo First Nation Miq’maw project based in Boston, Massachusetts. The project is the work of a musician known as D., who explores themes of darkness, natural decay, and suffering through raw black metal. Ushangvagush's music often incorporates elements of punk and ambient sounds, blending them with a fierce and experimental black metal style. D. draws inspiration from their indigenous heritage, using the Mi'kmaq language in their work. Notable releases include "Mntu," a debut full-length album, and "Pestmo'qon," which follows up on the project's intense and thought-provoking soundscapes.
