Simba Tagz

Simba Tagz, born Simbarashe Tagwireyi, is a Zimbabwean musician, producer, and rapper renowned for his versatility and influence in African music. Hailing from Harare, he is the founder of Showtime Records Africa and has released two solo albums, showcasing his skills both as a solo artist and a sought-after producer. Simba Tagz has worked with a star-studded list of African artists including Burna Boy, Wizkid, Shatta Wale, Mr Eazi, and many others, helping to craft a distinctive African sound that bridges cultures and styles. Beyond producing, he focuses on amplifying the artist’s vision rather than branding his own, making him a unique "sound architect" in the continent's music scene.

His journey began in his bedroom studio around 2010, and since then, he has become a prominent figure in Zimbabwe’s music industry and beyond.
