Blacklisters

Blacklisters are a British noise rock band known for their abrasive and confrontational sound, melding the raw edges of punk with the heavier aspects of noise rock and post-hardcore. Formed in Leeds in the late 2000s, the band has carved out a niche for themselves within the UK's underground rock scene. Their sound is characterized by dissonant guitar work, pummeling rhythms, and the aggressively shouted vocals of frontman Billy Mason Wood.

With a string of releases that showcase their ferocity and uncompromising approach to music, Blacklisters gained recognition following their early work, culminating in their debut album 'BLKLSTRS', which emerged in 2012 to critical acclaim within the noise rock community. They continued to build on their momentum with 'Adult', a release that cemented their reputation for crafting intense, energetic tracks that are both unpredictable and engaging. Most recently, tracks like "Auf Dem Tisch" and "Leisure Centre" reveal a band that refuses to stagnate, continually pushing the boundaries of their genre while maintaining their visceral edge. The confrontational tones in singles like "Why Deny It?" and "Fantastic Man" reaffirm Blacklisters' place as torchbearers of a sound that is as relentless as it is raw.
