RIP was a hardcore punk band from Mondragón in the Basque region of Spain. They were part of the Basque Radical Rock movement in the early 1980s. The band's classic lineup consisted of lead singer Karlos "Mahoma" Agirreurreta, bassist "Portu" Mancebo, guitarist Jul Bolinaga, and drummer Txerra Bolinaga. RIP released influential albums like "No Te Muevas" in 1987, which is considered an important record in Spanish punk history. The band broke up in 1988 but reunited in 1994 before disbanding again in the early 2000s after the deaths of some members.
