Vladimir Gnatenko

Volodymyr Gnatenko, also known as Vladimir Gnatenko, is an electronic music producer hailing from Lutsk, Ukraine. He began his musical journey as a teenager when his father gifted him a Roland FR-3x electric accordion, sparking his fascination with MIDI and electronic sounds. Early on, he was drawn to genres like synthwave and witch house, inspired by bands such as Joy Division and Suicide. His relocation to Kyiv marked a turning point, where he immersed himself in the city's vibrant electronic scene, particularly around the iconic Otel’ club, fostering connections that deepened his musical expression. Gnatenko's music blends elements reminiscent of '80s synths, acid house, techno, and world music samples, creating intricate compositions that resist strict genre labels, reflecting his ever-evolving artistic vision.

Despite the challenges faced during recent years, including the conflict in eastern Ukraine, Gnatenko continued to develop his sound and craft, releasing several EPs and albums that showcase his unique take on electronic music. His work has been released on respected labels and features a mix of energetic rhythms and textured melodies that have earned him recognition within the electronic music community.
