Spanish for Hitchhiking

Spanish for Hitchhiking is a band deeply rooted in the vibrant Western Massachusetts music scene since 2001. The group consists of Dennis Crommett on vocals and guitar, Dave Chalfant on guitar, Max Germer on bass, and Dave Hower on drums. They have released several albums, with their third record, "Wild Love," coming out in 2021. Notably, their song "In Stereo" was added to Northampton's WRSI radio rotation following the album's release. The band has also collaborated with notable artists, such as Black Francis of the Pixies, with whom they recorded a cover of "El Clavo Y La Cruz" for a tribute album to "Repo Man" in 2012. This collaboration highlights their eclectic style and ability to engage with diverse musical influences.
