Acorazado Potemkin is a band that came together in 2010, consisting of musicians from various established groups. The members include Juan Pablo Fernández, known for his work with Pequeña Orquesta Reincidentes, Federico Ghazarossian, who has played with Don Cornelio y La Zona and Los Visitantes, and Lucian "Lulo" Essaín, previously part of Valle de Muñecas and Motorama. They drew inspiration from the 1925 film "The Battleship Potemkin" by Sergei Eisenstein, which tells the story of a sailors' rebellion against the Tsarist regime. This band, often described as a supergroup, brings a unique punk sound infused with deep lyrics and poetry, diverging from the styles of their previous projects. Their music reflects a desire to break away from traditional rock clichés and create something new and meaningful.
