MulataSon

MulataSon is an all-female Cuban orchestra founded in September 2013 in Havana by percussionist and musical director Yarelis Martínez Chávez along with nine other talented young graduates of the city's art schools. The group, known for their vibrant original compositions and dynamic performances, beautifully combines Cuban musical traditions with fresh energy and creativity. With an average age of 23 among its members, MulataSon has made a name for themselves through albums like "El trago del Bombón," "Me Estoy Enamorando," and "No Vale Rendirse," showcasing their passion and skill in Cuban music.

Their music celebrates the talent and spirit of Cuban women, drawing on rich rhythms and melodies that reflect Havana's vibrant culture. MulataSon has also embarked on international tours, including a notable European tour, spreading their unique sound beyond Cuba’s borders and captivating audiences worldwide with their lively and authentic performances.
