Tenzin Kunsel is a talented Tibetan singer known for her captivating voice and versatile style, singing in Tibetan, English, and Hindi. Born in a Tibetan refugee camp in Southern India, she was raised by her mother, Kalsang Wangmo. Kunsel has been performing since the age of five and has had the honor of singing for prominent figures such as the Dalai Lama and the Gyalwa Karmapa. Her music has also attracted international attention, with invitations to perform in countries like Switzerland, Belgium, Canada, and India.
Kunsel is not only a gifted musician but also an accomplished academic. She completed a double degree in Biochemistry and Physics at the University of Massachusetts and plans to pursue further studies and scientific research. Additionally, she has been involved in volunteer work within the Tibetan exile community, focusing on education and support for disabled and disadvantaged children.
