Jeremy Reynolds

Jeremy Reynolds is an accomplished clarinetist and professor at the University of Denver Lamont School of Music. Before joining the faculty permanently in 2010, he served as Principal Clarinetist with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and has performed on six continents, including a Carnegie Hall debut in 2015. He also holds the position of Associate Principal Clarinet with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and frequently subs with the Colorado Symphony. Known for his dynamic performances and dedication to contemporary music, Reynolds champions living composers and has premiered works by Jenni Brandon, among others. He is a Buffet Group Performing Artist and Lomax Classic Mouthpiece artist, and has collaborated with notable musicians like Itzhak Perlman.

Reynolds is deeply involved in chamber music and education, maintaining an active clarinet studio and nurturing young musicians. He has recorded comprehensive works for clarinet by composers such as David Maslanka and has premiered new compositions, helping to expand the clarinet repertoire. Beyond performing and teaching, he contributes to the music community by acting as a liaison for the Lamont School of Music’s advancement efforts and inspires enthusiasm for the institution’s intimate and rigorous education model. His passion for clarinet music and active engagement with diverse musical events worldwide make him a vibrant figure in the classical music scene.
