Tomasz Pokrzywiński is a Polish cellist and gambist who has made a name for himself as a leading interpreter of early music. Born in Warsaw, Pokrzywiński studied at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. He has performed with some of the world's most prestigious ensembles, including the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, and the Freiburger Barockorchester. Pokrzywiński is also a dedicated teacher and has given masterclasses at institutions around the world.
