Gros Enfant Mort

Gros Enfant Mort is a solo project from France, primarily associated with the genres of screamo and post-hardcore. The project was initiated by Alexis, who was previously the drummer for the French post-hardcore band Johk. After Johk's breakup in 2019, Alexis began focusing on Gros Enfant Mort, releasing a self-titled debut album that same year. Recent releases include the album "La Banalité Du Mal," which explores darker, more pessimistic themes, reflecting the emotional turmoil experienced during the writing process, particularly during lockdowns.
