Oi-SKALL Mates are a Japanese third-wave ska punk band hailing from Tokyo, Japan. Formed with a lively and energetic sound, they have been active in the J-ska scene, often performing alongside notable bands like Rude Bones and Kemuri. The band's lineup includes a diverse range of musicians: Wataru Buster on vocals, Hiroshi "Brown" Buster on trombone, Ken Ken and Taeko on guitars, Yoshio on alto sax, Shintarou on tenor sax, Cim and Shinya on bass (with Shinya also playing bass sax), Maru on drums, Nori on trumpets, Mami on organ, and Nobu on bass sax. Oi-SKALL Mates have appeared on various compilations, including Japanese Disney cover albums by Walt Disney Records. They have also performed internationally, including their first U.S. appearance and a notable show at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California.
