Boogie Belgique

Boogie Belgique is a Belgian experimental hip hop and electro swing band founded by Oswald Cromheecke in 2012. The project, which started as Cromheecke's solo venture, has evolved into a full band, blending elements of trip hop, electronica, and jazz. Their sound is characterized by a nostalgic touch, often incorporating samples from vintage recordings to create a unique fusion of old and new.

The band's lineup has expanded over the years and now includes Cedric Van Overstraeten on trumpet, Aiko Devriendt on keys and flute, Martijn Van Den Broek on drums, Ambroos De Schepper on saxophone, and Emily Van Overstraeten on vocals. Boogie Belgique has released several albums, including "Blueberry Hill" (2012), "Volta" (2016), and "Machine" (2022), establishing themselves in the underground scene of instrumental hip hop and nu-jazz.
