The Atomic Bitchwax

The Atomic Bitchwax, commonly known by the acronym TAB, is an American rock band that optimizes the fusion of hard rock, psychedelia, and progressive elements, creating a distinctive sound that has resonated with fans since their formation. Originating from Long Branch, New Jersey, the band was formed in the late 1990s by bassist/vocalist Chris Kosnik, guitarist Ed Mundell, and drummer Keith Ackerman, all of whom had a considerable pedigree in the heavy music scene.

Over the years, The Atomic Bitchwax has gained a reputation for their energetic performances and riff-centered rock n' roll. With frequent lineup changes, the band's sound has evolved, while maintaining its core ethos. As of their most recent releases, the band's lineup consists of Kosnik, who has also played with Monster Magnet, alongside guitarist Finn Ryan and drummer Bob Pantella, another Monster Magnet member. Their album 'Scorpio,' released in 2020, continued to showcase their skill in crafting propulsive and intricate tracks that engage the listener with a blend of retro and modern hard rock influences. Their discography, which includes titles like 'Force Field' (2017), 'Gravitron' (2015), and 'The Local Fuzz' (2011), provides a solid testament to their musicianship and their unwavering commitment to the art of the heavy groove.
