Grandma Strange

**Grandma Strange** is a psychedelic rock duo from Austin, Texas, made up of sibling powerhouse Zoe (vocals/guitar) and Max Strange (drums). Since forming in 2015, they’ve carved out a trippy niche blending 60s/70s acid-rock grooves with gritty modern garage energy. Known for their kaleidoscopic live shows and lyrics dripping with surreal imagery, they dropped their debut EP *Cosmic Dust* in 2017 and followed up with a full-length album of the same name in 2020. Recent singles like the swampy "Milk and Honey," haunting "Nightingale," and road-trip anthem "Highway Choir" showcase their knack for pairing hypnotic riffs with introspective storytelling. When not touring with psych-rock peers like The Black Angels, they collaborate with Austin’s DIY art scene, screen-printing their own merch and championing local creatives.
