Noah Becker is a versatile American-Canadian jazz saxophonist, clarinetist, composer, and visual artist based in New York City for over two decades. Born in Cleveland in 1970 and raised partly in Canada, he studied at Humber College in Toronto before moving to New York in 1997. Becker’s music marries influences from classic 1950s-60s jazz with folk and world music, and he has released several records as a bandleader, including *Mode For Noah* and *The Hollow Count*, showcasing his distinctive compositions and collaborations with top jazz musicians. Besides his musical career, he is also recognized for his visual art and as the publisher of *Whitehot Magazine of Contemporary Art*.
