Judith Sephuma

Judith Sephuma is a multi-award-winning South African jazz and Afro-pop singer, revered for her silky-smooth voice that has captivated audiences both domestically and internationally. Hailing from Polokwane, Limpopo, Sephuma has become one of the most distinguished vocalists in South Africa's musical landscape since she emerged in the early 2000s. Her musical education began at the Funda Centre in Diepkloof, Soweto, and she later honed her craft at the University of Cape Town's College of Music, where she graduated with a Performer's Diploma in Jazz.

Sephuma's debut album, "A Cry, A Smile, A Dance," released in 2001, was met with critical acclaim and set a new standard for jazz and Afro-pop fusion in the country.
