Hans Keuper is a Dutch artist known for blending music and regional dialect into a distinctive cultural expression. Born in Dinxperlo in 1944, he studied biology in Utrecht and taught in Kameroen before settling as a biology teacher in Doetinchem. He gained prominence as the frontman of Boh Foi Toch, a band he co-founded in 1989 that mixes Cajun, Zydeco, and Achterhoek dialect lyrics, often performing with a trekharmonica. His albums like *Een leedje wat veur zich eigens sprök*, *Een leedjen blos veur ow*, and *Ik wol een leedjen zingen* showcase his knack for heartfelt, locally rooted storytelling. Beyond music, Keuper has contributed to dialect preservation through editorial work for *De Moespot* and publications like *Wa'k zo dachte*, earning him the Willem Sluiter Prijs in 2021 for celebrating Achterhoek culture.
