Thabilé

Thabilé is a South African-born singer-songwriter currently based in Stuttgart, Germany. Born and raised in the Dlamini township of Johannesburg, her love for music began at the age of eight when she sang in a gospel and school choir, inspired by her mother. Thabilé's music is a blend of soul, pop, jazz, and R&B, reflecting her vibrant cultural heritage. Her second solo album, *Read My Lips*, features a multi-genre approach and explores themes of healing and self-love. With her previous album *Dlamini Echo* (2018), Thabilé has established herself as a notable artist in the contemporary music scene.

Thabilé's work is deeply rooted in her South African roots, yet she brings a global perspective to her music, which she feels represents the African continent as a whole. Collaborating with guitarist and music producer Steve Bimamisa, her albums showcase her elegant and soulful voice. Thabilé’s journey from South Africa to Germany has enriched her musical style, allowing her to blend different genres seamlessly into her unique sound.
