Rainsford is the solo project of Raina Rose Wallace, a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter who first gained attention as a member of the indie-electronic band The Naked and Famous. After departing the group in 2017, she reinvented herself with a moody, introspective pop sound blending haunting vocals with shimmering synths and candid lyricism. Her music, including standout tracks like "Brutal" and "Love Me Like You Hate Me," often explores themes of emotional turbulence and self-discovery, delivered with a dark yet danceable edge. She’s collaborated with producers like Tommy English (Kacey Musgraves, Carly Rae Jepsen) and has had songs featured in shows like *Love in the Time of Corona*.
