In the Kingdom of Nightmares is a metalcore band hailing from Harmony, Maine, known for their heavy, fast, and groove-based sound that proudly carries the torch of New England metal. Formed originally in 2008, they quickly made a mark with their debut EP "As Daylight Turns To Dusk" and built a reputation drawing comparisons to influential bands like Killswitch Engage, The Ghost Inside, and Unearth. After disbanding in 2011, the band reformed in 2019 with core members TJ Washburn (vocals), Gary Porter (drums), and Chris Manos (guitar) returning, joined later by Luke Cormier (guitar) and Jay Knight (bass/backing vocals). Their music is heavily influenced by classic and contemporary metal acts, blending traditional metalcore with a distinct New England twist.

Since their reunion, In the Kingdom of Nightmares has released several demos, EPs, and full-length albums, including recent works like "Night Terrors" (2022) and the upcoming 2025 album "Fading Light." The band continues to evolve their sound while staying true to their metal roots, offering fans a mix of aggressive riffs, melodic elements, and powerful vocals. Their dedication to their craft and growth as musicians has kept them relevant in the metal scene, maintaining a loyal fanbase and garnering critical acclaim for their intense and passionate performances.
