Tessy Lou Williams

Tessy Lou Williams is an American country singer and songwriter deeply rooted in traditional influences, with a unique spin on western culture. Born to Kenny and Claudia Williams, the husband-wife duo behind the band Montana Rose, Tessy Lou's musical journey began early in life. Growing up in Montana, she was exposed to music through her parents, who encouraged her creative development. Tessy Lou started performing at the Pony Bar in Montana at age 19, where she honed her skills and eventually moved to Austin, Texas, to pursue a career in music. In Austin, she formed The Shotgun Stars, a band that included her father on bass, among other talented musicians.

As a solo artist, Tessy Lou has released albums that reflect her genuine country energy. Her self-titled debut is a testament to her ability to craft heartfelt songs that embody the spirit of country music. Tracks like "Someone Lonely" showcase her talent for storytelling and emotional depth. Tessy Lou's music captures the heartache and loneliness often found in classic country, but with a modern twist that resonates with contemporary audiences.
