Dillinger Four

Dillinger Four is an influential punk band hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, known for their intelligent, often politically charged lyrics, and raucous melodic punk sound. Formed in 1994, the band’s lineup consists of Patrick Costello (bass guitar, vocals), Erik Funk (guitar, vocals), Bill Morrisette (guitar, vocals), and Lane Pederson (drums). They earned a reputation in the punk community for their energetic live shows, wry sense of humor, and defiantly DIY approach to music and touring. Dillinger Four has always maintained a close connection with their fanbase, often eschewing the traditional music industry in favor of more grassroots methods.

Their musical catalogue, defined by a blend of punk rock, hardcore, and melodic elements, reflects social and political commentary wrapped in layers of catchy hooks and harmonies. "Midwestern Songs Of The Americas," their debut album released in 1998, set the stage for their impact on the punk scene, followed by "Versus God" in 2000, and the critically acclaimed "Situationist Comedy" in 2002. After a six-year hiatus, they returned with "C I V I L W A R" in 2008, showcasing matured songwriting while retaining the band's signature sound. Dillinger Four's rarity in releases has only bolstered their legend within the punk community, with fans consistently yearning for more from the seminal band.
