Advance Base
Advance Base is an indie folk project fronted by Owen Ashworth. Ashworth began the project in 2009 as a solo endeavor, but it has since expanded to include a full band. Advance Base's music is characterized by its introspective lyrics, lush harmonies, and intricate arrangements. The band has released several albums and EPs, including "A Shut-In's Prayer" (2016) and "Nephew in the Wild" (2018). Advance Base has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with artists such as Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, and The National.
