Sidney Barnes

Sidney Barnes is a veteran soul, R&B, and pop artist whose career spans more than five decades. Born in 1941 in Welch, West Virginia, he grew up immersed in music, eventually moving to New Jersey to pursue his ambitions. Early on, Barnes formed the doo-wop group The Serenaders and scored local success before making connections with major labels like Motown, where he worked as a singer, songwriter, and producer.
