Carlos Bernardo is a Brazilian-born musician, guitarist, and composer whose creative journey has spanned continents and genres. Born in Cardiff, Wales, on December 2, 1971, to Brazilian parents, Bernardo spent his formative years in Rio de Janeiro before moving to Vitoria, Espírito Santo. His musical path began in the mid-80s with a passion for rock, which led him to guitar and improvisation. Over the years, he has blended his Brazilian roots, jazz, and rock influences into a unique sound, recording albums like *Pacifico* (1995) and *Água Nova* (2002), both acclaimed for weaving together musical styles and cultural inspirations.
Bernardo’s career has included collaborations on stage and in the studio, as well as work with international theater groups such as Théâtre du Soleil in Paris and Amok Teatro in Brazil.
