Rencilla

Rencilla is a Panamanian hardcore punk band formed on March 10, 1997, by Justo Villalaz (guitar and vocals) and Ramphis Samudio (drums). Over their extensive career, they have released multiple albums and DVDs, including notable works like *Euforias Masivas* (2001), *Pies de Loto* (2003), *10 años hardcore: Solo los fuertes Sobreviven* (2007), *Familia* (2014), and more recently, *Cadáveres* (2020) and *20 Años Hardcore* (2017). The band has toured internationally, performing in countries such as Mexico, Costa Rica, and Colombia, and has shared stages with influential bands like Misfits, Pennywise, and Madball. Rencilla has won several awards, including three "Best Heavy Rock Band" titles at the Panamá Rock Awards, and received recognition from the Alcaldía de Panamá for their contributions to national rock music. Their lineup includes Justo Villalaz on guitar and vocals, Durmada Damana Das on vocals, Irene Villalaz on bass, Pedro Caicedo on lead guitar, and Jorge Isaac Lopez on drums.
