NU-NATION

Nu-Nation is a Russian nu metal and groove metal band from Saint Petersburg. Formed in 2009, the group was initially influenced by bands like Sepultura and Ektomorf, starting out as a groove/nu-metal band. Over time, their style evolved into a blend of extreme metal with elements of groove metal, hardcore, death metal, and black metal. Their discography includes notable albums such as "Wake Up" (2012), "The Awakening" (2014), and "Insomnia" (2016). The band's members include Arthur Khlebnikov on vocals, Alexander Korsak and Denis Vasiliev on guitars, Dmitri Chernykh on bass, and Alexei Kiyski on drums. Their music has been well-received for its brutal yet melodically rich sound, reflecting a diverse mix of styles.
