Elliott Murphy

Elliott Murphy is an American singer-songwriter and rock troubadour who's been weaving stories through music since the early 1970s. Often compared to Springsteen and Dylan for his literate lyrics and working-class narratives, this New York native first made waves with his critically acclaimed 1973 debut *Aquashow*. While never quite reaching mainstream stardom, Murphy built a devoted following with his folk-rock storytelling, eventually becoming a cult favorite in Europe after relocating to Paris in the 1980s. His recent work shows no signs of slowing down - whether he's dropping remastered classics like *Milwaukee*, serving up cinematic vibes on the *Broken Poet* soundtrack, or proving he's still got it with lively releases like *Elliott Murphy Is Alive!* and *Live in Bilbao*.
