Suki & Ding

Suki & Ding is a pioneering Jewish music duo that began their collaboration in 1977. Suki, born Yissocher but nicknamed after being born on Succos, teamed up with Ding to create a fresh and lively sound that was groundbreaking for its time, including the use of synthesizers in Jewish music. Their first album, *Suki with a Touch of Ding (Presents the Greatest Wedding Album)*, was recorded just days before Suki was to leave for Israel, and it unexpectedly turned into a commercial success, encouraging them to continue producing music together. Over the years, their productions have become a beloved staple in Jewish music, known for spreading positivity, identity, and joy.

They are also well known for their production work related to the character Uncle Moishy, a popular figure in Jewish children's music. Suki & Ding Productions has produced numerous albums and videos for Uncle Moishy, contributing significantly to Jewish children's entertainment since the 1970s. Despite some legal disputes regarding the ownership and use of the Uncle Moishy character, the duo remains influential and continues to create music that connects deeply with Jewish audiences worldwide.
