Selecta Jef, also known by his real name Kihembo Geoffrey Tumusiime, is a fast-rising DJ and record producer from Kampala, Uganda. He first gained attention for his energetic DJ sets and quickly became known as one of Uganda’s fastest DJs to rise to fame, thanks to his skillful turntable work and collaborations with big local artists. Selecta Jef’s production credits include hit singles like “Tip” (featuring Bantu Vibes and John Blaq), “BYANKUKUTU” (with Rickman Manrick), and “Okooye,” all of which have helped cement his reputation as a dynamic force in Uganda’s music scene. His music blends Afrobeat, dancehall, and electronic influences, and he is celebrated for his catchy hooks and party-ready tracks.
