Gabriel Erkoreka is a Basque composer and pianist who has made a name for himself with his unique blend of classical and contemporary music. Born in Bilbao, Spain, Erkoreka began studying piano at the age of 5 and later went on to study composition at the Musikene Conservatory in San Sebastian. His music is often inspired by the Basque culture and landscape, and he has written a number of works for traditional Basque instruments. Erkoreka has performed his music all over the world, and his compositions have been recorded by a number of leading orchestras and ensembles.
