Lil B

Lil B, also known as The BasedGod, is an American rapper, motivational speaker, and internet personality from Berkeley, California. Born Brandon Christopher McCartney on August 17, 1989, Lil B rose to fame in the late 2000s as a member of the hip hop group The Pack, with their hit single "Vans" making waves in 2006. Branching out as a solo artist, he became renowned for his expansive discography and unorthodox approach to rap music, characterized by his "based" philosophy that encourages positivity, self-love, and individuality.

Lil B's career as a solo artist has been prolific, with a remarkable output of mixtapes and albums that boast a unique blend of whimsy, earnestness, and stream-of-consciousness rapping. His most recent releases, such as "Winged Wheelchair Squad" and "BasedGods Pro Skater," continue to showcase his eclectic style and penchant for idiosyncratic titles. Through entirely self-produced and often freely distributed music, including works like "Bitch Mob tha Album" and "SWAG LIKE OHIO PT. 2," Lil B has cultivated a devoted fan base and has gained recognition as an influential figure in the hip-hop community and internet culture. With his music and social media presence, he's not just a rapper but a symbol of unapologetic self-expression in the digital age.
