SUDO

SUDO is a dynamic electronic music producer and live act hailing from Kobe, Japan, now based in Berlin. Known for their techno and tech-house sounds, the group is actually a brother duo consisting of Isao and Takashi Sudo. They have a rich musical background that began with punk rock influences in the 1980s, blending diverse genres such as rock, jazz, new wave, and classical into their sound before fully diving into dance music in the early 1990s after discovering artists like Sven Väth and Underworld. Since relocating to Berlin after visits to hotspots like Rotterdam and Ibiza in 2012, SUDO has released music on notable labels such as Dubfire’s SCI+TEC and MINUS, earning support from top DJs including Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, and Sven Väth. Their 2016 Monogram EP was a standout success, propelling them onto global dance floors and leading to extensive tours in Europe, India, and Australia. Recent releases like "Hybrid," "Sakura," and "Nexus" continue to showcase their evolving techno style and live performance prowess.
