Piso 21

Piso 21 is a Colombian pop and reggaeton band formed in 2007, named after the apartment (on the 21st floor) where they had their first serious musical discussions. Originally comprising Juan David Castaño (El Llanero), Juan David Huertas (El Profe), Pablo Mejía (Pablito), and David Escobar (Dim), the quartet reached fame in Latin America and beyond with their catchy fusion of pop, reggaeton, and urban rhythms. Their early successes laid the groundwork for a sound that is both accessible and rooted in their Colombian heritage. In 2018, one of the founding members, Llane, decided to leave the group to pursue a solo career and was replaced by David Lorduy Hernández (Lorduy).

Piso 21 has carved out a significant place in the Latin music scene with multiple hit singles and albums that blend romantic lyrics with vibrant, dance-inducing beats. They have received numerous awards and nominations, including Latin Grammy nods, showcasing their widespread appeal. In recent years, the band has continued to innovate and remain relevant through a dynamic discography that features singles such as "LOS MUCHACHOS", "EN MI PIEL", and "Solta-te". Showcasing their versatility, songs like "Dolido y Borracho" and "ME LIBERÉ" blend emotional storytelling with urban grooves, while tracks like "DÉJALO EN VISTO", "3/21", and "14/20" exude the band’s signature playful and sensual style. With each release, including "SUELTAS" and "Donde Quieres", Piso 21 continues to reinvent the modern landscape of Latin pop music, winning hearts both in their homeland and across international borders.
