Banda Pérola Negra is a Brazilian samba and pagode group formed in 1986 in Rio de Janeiro. The band's name translates to "Black Pearl Band" and is a reference to the neighborhood where they originated, Morro do Pérola Negra (Black Pearl Hill). They are known for their energetic live performances and catchy, danceable songs. Some of their most popular hits include "Você e Eu," "Asas," and "Dois Homens e Um Destino."
