Briskey is a dynamic Belgian jazz ensemble led by pianist and composer Erik Vermeulen, known for their adventurous blend of modern jazz, post-bop, and avant-garde influences. Since emerging in the late ’90s, the band has carved out a niche with their intricate compositions and spontaneous improvisation, often collaborating with standout musicians like trumpeter Bart Maris and saxophonist Joachim Badenhorst.
