Martins first rose to fame as the lead vocalist of the band Penélope from 1997 to 2004, where she belted out hits like "Holiday" and "Namorinho de Portão".

After Penélope, Érika didn't slow down. She launched a solo career, dropping her self-titled debut album in 2009. She's also been part of some cool collaborations, including a stint with Lafayette & Os Tremendões and a gig as a vocalist for Autoramas from 2015 to 2023.
