Margantha

Margantha is an Italian-Finnish black metal band formed by three musicians united by their passion for black metal and horror-inspired aesthetics. Their debut EP, *Blood Moon Sacrifice* (released in June 2025 on Rockshots Records), is a dark, atmospheric concept work that tells a chilling story rooted in folklore. The EP follows a werewolf legend set in a remote hunters’ village, combining elements of black metal, melodic death metal, and haunting melodies to create an intense narrative experience. The band’s sound is cinematic and textured, with guest appearances such as Andy LaRocque from King Diamond adding to the EP’s dramatic edge.

Their music blends primal fear, ritualistic themes, and emotional tension, evidenced by tracks like “Blood Moon Sacrifice,” “Wolves At The Door,” and “Curse Of The Full Moon.” Margantha is recognized for crafting a dark fairy-tale atmosphere through a mix of aggressive riffs and hypnotic rhythms, marking them as vivid storytellers in the contemporary black metal scene.
