Rie a.k.a. Suzaku

Rie a.k.a. Suzaku is a Japanese guitarist, singer, and songwriter who has made a name for herself in the heavy metal and fusion genres. Born on November 26, 1985, she started her musical journey at a young age, learning classical guitar in middle school before transitioning to electric guitar. Suzaku gained recognition by winning a gold medal at a national guitar competition and has since released multiple albums, including "Kingdom of the Sun," "Noah's Ark," and "Top Runner".

Initially known for her work in heavy metal, Suzaku has recently shifted her focus towards jazz fusion, collaborating with various musicians and forming bands like Muses. Her music often blends elements of metal, jazz, and progressive rock, showcasing her technical prowess on the guitar. Suzaku has released at least 16 solo albums and continues to perform, primarily in Tokyo.
